Did You Know: It’s never too early to teach children about handling money, budgets, and the difference between needs and wants. Paying them an allowance is a good start! For older children use it as an opportunity to teach them the 50-30-20 rule. (50% needs, 30% wants and 20% savings.)

Kids can also help you with the grocery shopping. You can share your budget for the shopping trip with them, and then they can help you find the best prices on items, and track your spending as you go through the store.
